Here is the Google Maps view of the transit center, trail, wetlands to the immediate south and west, and the area with mostly surface parking. Most of this area appears to be used by Edmonds school district for school busses, which would need to be accommodated somewhere if redevelopment occurs.

Office park and surface parking lots visible from the platform at Lynnwood City Center station. These are distinct from the wetlands south of the transit center. The surface lots are already connected via the Interurban Trail, but the office park would need a ped overpass over I-5.

A crash just took out power for most of the Alderwood Mall commercial area. And get this—I saw another crash down the road on the way to this, at 44th and 200th. So when do we get serious about speed enforcement?
