Yes, absolutely, but/and a young transwoman in my life tells me it feels to her like the party is capitulating on behalf of ALL transwomen in ALL public restrooms, or that it will be taken that way in many spaces, and that feels valid too. And she’s hurting.

2/2 to waste time arguing with anyone now. There’s too much to do to protect what I can & it’s too late for that to change much. But I am who I am every day & I’m too old and pissed off to care if people know it. The hope is maybe along the way someone sees they can ask me for help if they need it.
