- Enable aggregators or energy communities to unlock benefits of automated flexibility
- Avoid unreasonable compensation for suppliers
- Include demand flexibility in all energy and capacity markets on same footing as other resources

Action 1: Prioritise smart grids and smart meter rollout
- Financially incentivise grid operators to use non-wire solutions
- Roll out smart meters by the distribution grid operator or use dedicated measurement devices by third parties

Indeed, and the merit order effect of wind pushing away gas power is made in this other very recent analysis. ECIU calculate 33% lower wholesale electricity price in GB because of wind.

I haven't had time to compare the 2 reports.
