This was earlier....now it is impossible to cross the river above ground as big men are blocking even pedestrian bridges. Touts at Waterloo Station are shouting about #fireworks tickets. #NewYearsEve #London

How to decorate a #Christmas tree. 1. Put star on top (using crane & 2 men). 2. Lay out many metres of lights (using Trafalgar Square, as much space needed), test. 3. Hang lights (as in 1). Thus bring #Christmas joy to many with @trafalgartree -to be lit 5.30pm Thursday. #London
