I think it depends on how thinly you slice the layers up? -- I've seen some really convincing faux 3D via layer slicing before...

#Gamedev is going to be interesting, because we will have to not just continue accommodating older GPUs, but older hardware, and especially systems with less RAM, and smaller SSDs.

Lots of hate rn for AI. Some of it is very justified. But you can build GPTs that run on your laptop; and they don't need to be trained on text, images, or stolen data.
I believe there are ethical ways to use #genAI.

The google #PacMan game is *interesting*. The ghost AI is wrong... they often times bunch up and all do the same algorithm to find you... It gives out free lives too easily, and the difficulty does not increase. The variety of levels was really cool though. Would love to see it done proper. #gamedev
