We are developing a 3D model of the human brain that takes into account cytoarchitectonics, connectivity, molecular organization, genetics and brain function.
In this new study, we combine genetics and neuroscience to show that gene expression patterns in animal brains can apply to humans. Thus, using Julich Brain Atlas @fz-juelich.de, we can now find new insights into brain diseases like schizophrenia @ebrains.bsky.social
