🚨 Our 4th example of metalloallosteric regulation of kinase activity. Out today in @CellReports with @KJSsci. The ER stress sensor kinase PERK needs copper to work. Without copper, PERK can’t protect cells under stress. cell.com/cell-reports/p…

Sundays experiment by Trainee Barnett Brady!
Hypothesis: If I pour the water from my cups, it’ll only be in the cups!
Results: When I poured more than the cup would hold, it went all over the table and on top the floor.
Conclusions: I should only pour what is enough for the cup to hold.
