checkpoints? collectibles? looks pretty slick

Okay hear me out, what if building your protein model was a first person horror survival experience??

Time to start posting regular protein renders again, 8Y48 from the @rcsbpdb.bsky.social weekly release, using #MolecularNodes #b3d #GeometryNodes #SciArt 🧪

Sydney friends! Thanks to scheduling it turns out I have a totally free day tomorrow (Friday) if anyone wants to say hello

Some more testing for the position averaging of trajectories using #MolecularNodes in #b3d, makes a much more visually watchable movie compared to raw trajectory data #GeometryNodes #MolecularDynamics

Just got some nice positional averaging inside of #MolecularNodes. Smooth out trajectories across frames when visualising, add subframes, also takes into account periodic boundary crossing so you don't have zooming lipids #b3d #GeometryNodes #GlycoTime #SciArt

This is using GN so yeah caching is handled by Blender and you can scrub the timeline. This just a much more simplified particle sim that is activated at some point, the simulates / adds noise progressively. Doesn't take into account complex shapes but maybe something I can hand of to the GPU

Just a daily #MolecularNodes test render. Trying out different color spaces (got OKLab working and it looks great).

Now have protein structures importing and simulating on the GPU. Backbone only and currently structure is entirely spring based, but performance is incredible #b3d #GeometryNodes #MolecularNodes

The performance improves a lot when we aren't doing 500,000 particles. Lots of potential for simulating proteins / cellular landscapes interactively...

Manged to get NVIDIA's GPU physics solver Warp running interactively inside of Blender. This is 500,000 particles simulating ON THE GPU and taking live inputs from the viewport #b3d #GeometryNodes

Heyo bsky, have been meaning to officially start posting here (videos aren't supported???!?!?!?!?!?!?) but my repo just hit quite the milestone
