Label manager of Strong Island Recordings / Sometimes write words about music / Put on shows / Do other stuff / Sadly also a Pompey fan

All opinions are my own and are mostly stupid.

Portsmouth, UK
90s football to me was mostly Nationwide Division 1 and Serie A, so I NEED this.

We're seeing some bonkers decisions, but I don't disagree. Alas, the club should give Mousinho all the necessary funds in January and ensure the recruitment of players are of Championship calibre right now. Not future projects. Not Football Manager like signings. Proven Championship players.
💬 Andy Cullen: “We’ve got a really, really strong and talented coaching team who have risen to challenges here in recent seasons. We don’t panic because of the short term, we look to impact the medium and long term.”

A Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 remake with David Hayter back as Snake and Kiefer Sutherland voicing Big Boss, please.
Metal Gear’s producer says Konami is currently deciding what it will do next with the series, after MGS Delta, and that bringing back MGS4 would be 'a real challenge'.

Been a class week. Saw MBV. Saw Snapped Ankles AND I wasn't able to actually be at Fratton Park today to watch whatever this all is. 11/10.

MOTH Club is facing an existential threat because Hackney Council is considering approval of a residential development next door under delegated authority - denying the venue and its community a public planning hearing despite more than 25,000 objections.

Happy belated birthday to one of the greatest consoles ever. That start-up sequence from the late legend Ryuichi Sakamoto was ethereal bliss & you always knew you're about to experience some magic. A console that's akin to a band so ahead of their time that didn't receive the success they deserved.

This Budget is yet another episode in the long running saga of failures to seize opportunities to support Grassroots Music Venues. The Government’s rhetoric on their support for this vital sector is completely undone by the reality of their business rates decision.

Alongside many campaigners, the Green Party have absolutely dragged the Labour Government to finally end the child cap.

Labour politicians disgracefully defended it for far too long.

This shows why the Green Party membership rising and rising matters.

WE WON 💥 The two-child benefit limit is GONE! This will pull 470,000 children out of severe hardship by 2027.

This is a massive victory for families, campaigners, and every one of you that played your part urging the Chancellor to act.

But what he didn’t mention is that several tribunals found that some of his own companies have failed to pay wages and holiday pay
