I’ve been on the watch for our neighborhood red tailed hawk to see if he would return to his old favorite perch this fall. Such a treat to see him there this morning for the first time in months! Welcome back, Guillaume! (*I don’t remember why we started calling him that, but that’s his name now. 🤷♂️)

Looks like it’s time to dust off my signs. I hope to see many of you out there at the protests tomorrow. We need to make a statement of solidarity. Huge numbers. PEACEFUL protest. Raise our voices to restore and protect the once great ideals of our country.

I heard the amazing @berliner-philharmoniker.de perform Strauss’s Alpine Symphony today via livestream. It was an inspiring performance of a bucket list piece. Special shout out to the horn section - absolutely brilliant playing!
