I don't know if it is still possible to get hardbound copies of @camillagluh.bsky.social 's Desert Prophet, but if you can, you should.

An all around beautiful object and a story that will haunt you.

I was very excited to receive my copy of @camillagluh.bsky.social 's Desert Prophet. The book is beautiful.

Great turnout for a blustery, Windsor Colorado #NoKings protest

Here's what I see when looking only at the F2F interviews vs the inclusion of the web sample:

The trend moves in the same direction, but you get a bump of about 5 pp when including the web sample.

This was excellent (even though I almost couldn't make out the words toward the end through the tears welling up). An extraordinarily beautiful book about grief and rememberance.

Is someone working on updating Pete Seger's "What a friend we have in Congress" to fit our current situation? (original lyrics in the alt text)

How well do people really understand the politics of their own neighborhoods?

On Thursday, May 15, from 4:30–6:00 PM, my colleague Alexis Essa and I will present new findings from YouGov at the AAPOR Annual Conference in St. Louis.

I hope to see folks there at #AAPOR2025.

It was a little cold and windy at times, but the Fort Collins #handsoff protest was really well attended.

I love Pigs Can't Look Up by @vincentdonofrio.bsky.social

It feels especially appropriate during poetry month. Thank you for putting such a beautiful thing into the world.

Do folks have recs for other gentle bedtime reads for little ones in this same vein?

One of the first movies I saw in the theater.

I remember being scandalized (and a little thrilled) by the scene where one of these weird turtles yells: Daaaaaaaamn!

Matt Page's Future Day Saints books are fantastic. Any LDS/Mormon or adjacent folks should check them out. I'm not really into comics or graphic novels but his wild vision of a future Zion is exactly what we need more of.

Just finished @aptshadow.bsky.social 's House of Open Wounds. I really enjoyed it. I haven't read much fantasy, but Tchaikovsky's story telling is really engaging. Kind of a fantastical setting of Catch 22 with all the absurdity of a military bureaucracy mixed in with gods and demons. Check it out!

I just finished @rebeccamakkai.bsky.social 's excellent "I have some questions for you"

Part murder mystery, part reflection on growing up and reevaluating the past, part commentary on our social media age... all good

Hey #pollsky - does anyone have details on what AtlasIntel means by "random digital recruitment"? Is this just river sampling by another name? Google isn't turning anything up for me.
