I just pulled it and turnout in Philly last night was higher than Election Night two years ago, which featured: the mayor's race, city council at-large seats, and a spot on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. Nice work turning out, everyone.

Philly is at close to 34 percent turnout, up from 22 percent four years ago. People are pissed off.

When I was a 22-year-old cub reporter (2007) I tried to do a story about DC-area guys named Bin Laden and it didn’t work for obvious (22-year-old reporter) reasons but I’ll be damned if the Times of London didn’t inadvertently pull it off
