If 300 people subscribed to my comic for $3 a month I would be able to continue working on the comic full time.

I can work. I want to work.

Guess who has submitted her grad school and funding applications!

And both of them were done with time to spare!!!!
What's that? I set a goal for myself to finish a draft of my statement of interest for my grad school application today and I actually managed it? Shock all around, I know

It's cruel that I have to venture out into the snow to spend two hours teaching a child who doesn't care to learn. The roads aren't even bad enough to cancel, apparently

I know I'm only human, but hot damn did I miss so many interesting resources when I was writing my thesis

I'm starting to wonder if there are any jobs out there that wouldn't get annoying to have to do every day

My new friend is allergic to everything, so I'm trying out my favourite cookie recipe with gluten-free, dairy-free, egg-free, soy-free alternatives.

This gov't does not deserve any of the good art anymore, so here's a stupidly drawn cat flipping the bird at our Premier. #abpoli

Some days you have a breakdown and then get to be silly and do improvised Shakespeare and other nonsense and life feels a little less bleak

My wallet is going to enjoy the next two weeks, but the rest of me certainly won't. Wish me luck getting to my next day off on the 17th T^T

Japan's "Mundane Halloween" costume contest is back!

Each year website DailyPortalZ holds a contest where people dress up as something super duper ordinary.

Here's a thread of some of my favorites from the 2025 contest!

I hate the Alberta government and their stupid nonsense. It's ridiculous that I had to book an appointment at a specific immunization clinic and not just walk into the Shoppers across the street because I want to reduce the spread of infectious diseases

This was difficult to answer. It really is taking AI as a given and not inviting alternate options. I didn't answer some of the questions, but I did my best to show my distrust and dislike of widespread use of AI
If you are a Canadian citizen or resident, and you hate "AI"¹, please fill out this survey.
