I point out to them, when there is an opportunity for one of the opposing units to do something terrible because they made it glaring mistake, but then I will pull that punch and not do it. I want them to learn that they made an error, but I also want them to have fun.

I use MM to run trial playthroughs of table top game concepts, before throwing them at my kids (who are just learning). I didn't do it the first game (we just gave them a 1k BV advantage) and they lost really badly.

I've had so many great political conversations with folks over there. I think there's a type of poster who rushes in and yells about American dominance and the evils of communism, then gets banned and complains on X about heavy handed Chinese censorship. And I think the app is better without them.

This isn't just a platitude, either. Doing work and seeing those results feels *good*. Being terminally online doom scrolling does not.
