A fun comparison of the SAMBA (Cigna) 2025 and 2026 plan year anti-discrimination policies. Note that they both say that they comply with Federal antidiscrimination law, but the 2026 plan removes sexual orientation and gender identity from the protected classes. Federal law hasn't changed.

Fascist incumbent Aurora City Council Member Danielle Jurinsky is trailing in a top two election. I wish I could say this would be the end of her career in politics, but I bet FOX News has a job waiting for her.

This is such a fundamental indictment of modern American politics. She had to leave her home in Texas and travel to Colorado to give birth after a “complicated” pregnancy due to Texas’ extreme anti-abortion laws.

I’m actually deeply surprised by these two groups ideologically consistency here. Usually groups like this look the other way when marginalized people come under attack.

Trump has strangely REALLY been sticking it to the Central Valley farmers, who overwhelmingly backed him and are the lifeblood of the CA GOP. First he dumps a bunch of water into the Tulare Lakebed, then he intentionally disrupts the market for almonds and pistachios, which mostly export to Asia.
