As someone who has spent most of his adult life living overseas, and generally proud of his homeland and the ideals I think its founding documents represent, I have always enjoyed answering questions, and making a reasonable attempt to explain multiple perspectives. It’s harder now.

They don’t understand that they are probably going to collapse the global economy, not just the American. It’s not just tariffs, not just a lot of unemployed people, not just the lost aid money, not just the grants, not just the loss of faith, but everything everywhere all at once.
