It's so amazing how this redesign has stopped a lot of chaotic driver weaving and speeding that was the norm on Court St. If you care about neighbor safety this bike lane is a huge win for everyone.

& I try to impress upon my trainees who work in cafes the importance of communication — almost no customers know a good barista is paying attention to brew times, adjusting the grinder as things fluctuate & how that affects the taste of their drink, let alone the specifics to get microfoam.

I sometimes lead barista trainings for people who have a fancy little La Marzocco or maybe a Breville espresso machine in their home or office. I hear so much of "wow a lot more goes into this than I thought."
