gonna be about 3 hrs away so the occasional weekend trip is still possible to come visit!
Moving 19hrs away for grad school sucked.
And hey, I’ll only be 3 hrs from Chicago, too!

Manager decided to work remote today and not even come in, lol.
Good thing I care about some of my coworkers and got them squared away and set up for success, b/e it doesn’t feel like any leadership prepared for this.

So many moving parts! I’m excited, but also a lot of stuff to get through.
Move states a week from today. Start my new job 2 weeks from today and MFF is in 2.5 weeks.
Throw in a family holiday, some travel and packing as well.

So I decided to cause a small amount of chaos in the office today by going into the settings on the copier/scanner and turning the sound on for everything.
It’s not obnoxiously loud or anything, just small button noises. I sit close to it, though and lemme tell ya the responses have been amusing.

At first I was just curious about why, but people getting in their cars turning their lights on and sitting there for literally 5-10 minutes is evolving into a pet peeve. Especially when it’s right through my bedroom window at 6:20am….
