That's actually an understatement. Even when presented with cold, hard data proving otherwise, people still argue that that basically everything is worse than it used to be!

Yes, his accumulated wealth and compensation are obscene, but this payout is dependent on him getting the valuation of the company waaaay up to $8.5 trillion. I'm no expert, but I haven't seen anything to make me think he can actually do that.

So basically, this administration which has announced that it is scared of anti-fascist movements, is now defunding the anti-nazi radio station. That tracks.

Ford paid workers higher wages to stabilize the workforce and create greater reliability. It had a side effect of expanding the market for the product he was making and helped to expand the middle class.

Found it; reported by Ron Suskind. Now they can use tech, and right wing alternative media, and the mainstream media to muddy the waters about what is real, and thus steer our reality.

*and* non-citizens are also humans with human rights.

Nothing about this is legal.

I beg to differ! Making my own.

This report did not cite our best evidence, and no one is even brave enough to put their name on it. In short, it is primarily bunk, and no basis for policy affecting children's safety and mental health! That should be part of NPR's reporting.

Work requirements for SNAP simply cut off hungry families and shift the burden of feeding people to voluntary organizations, which are already stretched to the breaking point. It's been proven in our red state "policy laboratories."

Host @brihreed.bsky.social gathers reporters who know the case best to compare notes and discuss the #Epstein story.

It’s provocative and confronting: power, accountability, & what happens when the media goes up against billionaires and their networks.

Spreading out vaccines means way more pokes and office visits, and makes it more likely some will be missed. Delaying vaccines leaves infants and children at risk for longer. It inconveniences busy parents, and increases healthcare costs. Mountains of evidence show vaccines don't cause autism.

WIC is pro-life and pro-health.

It's about making sure breast-feeding parents and babies don't go hungry, and aren't anemic or lead-poisoned.

It's too important to mess around with like this!

(btw, WIC Michigan is still open.)

Agree this is important!

The framing should be "What kind of a society are we?"

I think we would do well to remember that, in fact, Jim Crow atrocities inspired Hitler and the Nazis.

This is, in fact, "who we are," and who we have been, but we could choose to be different.
