Of the remaining three albums, which has the most extravagant special edition? Is it the Paul's Boutique 8x7" box set? The De La 12x7" box? Against most albums, it's probably one of these. But the 2009 Pixies box set 'Minotaur' is a literal monolith.

I hope Robert Smith doesn't drive his car into the ocean.

Fugazi for the DIY, staunchly radical, book-your-own-life-ness.

De La for taking hip-hop from black and white into full color with real, honest, positive lyrics, gigantic influence, and one of the best sample-based albums ever assembled.

Memoir/autobio-wise, 'Beastie Boys Book' is very good.

There's a 33 1/3 about COSMIC THING. The B-52s also made an appearance in some Archie comics and a picture book.

For people who want to know more about the Athens music scene of the time, I recommend 'Party Out of Bounds' and 'Cool Town.'

Went back and forth between Kendrick and SZA, only to find that the Stray Kids fans really showed up for this poll:

James Traficant.

Expelled from the House after being convicted of 10 felony counts, including taking bribes, racketeering, filing false tax returns, and forcing his congressional staff to perform chores at his farm in Ohio and houseboat in D.C.

Ran for reelection, as an independent, from prison.

Voted PRETTY HATE MACHINE, because of the increasingly delusional beliefs that a)De La is a lock in this round, b)NIN has a legit shot at winning, and c)De La has a better shot at beating NIN in the next round than they do The Cure

Really surprised the alligator snapping turtle and ivory-billed woodpecker aren't in there. I'm going to say 'Prehistoric-Looking' and 'Probably Extinct'

'Animal Factory' is a 2000 indie prison movie, directed by Steve Buscemi and starring Edward Furlong and Willem Dafoe, based on the book by Edward Bunker.

It's streaming on Netflix now, and, while it's a small cast, the level of 'hey, it's that guy' energy is off the charts. Recommended.

In 2016, Architectural Digest ran a piece about the Obama White House that included this picture of a vinyl-listening setup. It appears to be a Denon DP-300F turntable with Kanto YU5 speakers and what may be an Audioengine subwoofer.

Michael Caine on one of his movies:

“I have never seen the film, but by all accounts it was terrible. However, I have seen the house that it built, and it is terrific.”

Cassettes: Audible degradation is likely.
LPs: Depends how many times they've been played, but in climate-controlled storage they're probably in pretty good shape.
CDs: As long as they're not scratched, you're probably good.
