Also - we’re still probably 3 years out from ps6, and many (most?) consumers are not early adopters. Example: I basically promised my wife this would be enough for me, console wise, for at least seven years. Most don’t have a problem upgrading in the middle of a console gen

I just bought a PS5 yesterday. I did so precisely bc of the games I can’t play on my Xbox. I don’t buy the doom and gloom over this console gen. There are way more games out there than I have time to play.
