This is my town. Activism has always been strong here among our youth. Peaceful miles long nightly marches after the death of George Floyd went on for weeks. Our kids are raised by strong independent parents and educated by fierce and thoughtful teachers.

I went back to school to finish a 2nd degree in 2000. 20 years after the 1st at age 40 among 18-20 year olds. Professor put a pic of the US flag on the overhead & walked out of the room. I was the only one in a room of 100 to stand, hand on heart & sing the anthem.

Googled it. Not just tech but military. Here’s a piece from 2022, which is reassuring. I read about their attempts to corner it when I was still in tech, which ended about 2010. Looks like other nations got wise to it. Yep on the isolationist path they seem to be dragging us along.

Hasn't China literally travelled the globe the last decade or two, to corner the market on rare earth minerals, which is what's needed for so many of our tech toys?

Nah, won't find my book which proves Baer murdered Campbell unless it bought a copy. Can't get true history unless you dig into original primary sources, most of which aren't freely online.
