Costs of the crappy white eggs at Safeway in Northern California. The only eggs left when bought an 18-count on Saturday.

Googled it. Not just tech but military. Here’s a piece from 2022, which is reassuring. I read about their attempts to corner it when I was still in tech, which ended about 2010. Looks like other nations got wise to it. Yep on the isolationist path they seem to be dragging us along.

In what year was 3-division champ Henry Armstrong born #OTD? Nope, not 1912. The census taker visited his family (line 68) on 2nd May 1910. Henry is 4 months old. So Dec 12 is likely, but his year of birth was 1909. I wonder if he chose 1912 because he liked the idea of 12-12-12?

Proud of the research behind my new book. Backed by almost 1400 cited sources, I destroy a century of myths and lies believed about heavyweight champ Max Baer, expose the fact he intentionally killed Frankie Campbell in the ring, and how he got away with it. a.co/d/gq4Zad1

I like to drop this one into a chemtrail froth and drool post. Makes their pea brains explode.

A chat in 1922 between Jack Dempsey, World HW champ & Ted "Kid" Lewis. Lewis had relinquished British/European WW titles, due to difficulty making weight, & set his sights on Georges Carpentier's World/European Lt-Hvy titles. Here, Jack whispers into Lewis' ear regarding how to beat the Frenchman.

TWENTY unanswered punches at a clearly unconscious opponent hung up on the ropes, until his brain separated from his skull. Still don't believe me? Here's a ringside report. My book unflinchingly and thoroughly covers every horrific detail and includes 1400 cites sources 2/2 a.co/d/gq4Zad1

Rare archival 1927 photos of Ace Hudkins in Los Angeles trying out ballet under Theodore Kosloff of the Imperial Russian Ballet. Like past and future athletes in numerous sports, Ace hoped to improve his footwork, coordination, timing, and rhythm.

An impossibly young Jack Dempsey in Aug 1917, one month after he came under Jack Kearns' management. Kearns moved Jack into his Mother's home and she fattened him up, purportedly from 165 to 190 pounds.

1929: Olympic Auditorium matchmaker Hayden “Wad” Wadhams between Ace Hudkins & Mickey Walker. He and promoter Jack Doyle held fights at LA's Wrigley Stadium, which was “Wrigley” before the one in Chicago. Frankie Campbell was on the undercard & was one of Walker’s sparring partners for the card.

I'm fascinated by old boxing equipment. Here's one of Tommy O'Brien with an early boxing dummy.

Rare family photo in my book. Frankie Campbell's brother, Brooklyn Dodgers southpaw 1st baseman Dolph Camilli, helped sweep the team to their 1st World Series in 21 years. Here's the last photo of the brothers in June 1930, (Frankie was killed in August), when Dolph was with the Sacramento Solons.

Max Baer punched Frankie Campbell OVER 20 TIMES while a paid off referee, chosen by a boxing commissioner who profited off of Baer's fights, stood by. This is not the 1st ringside reporter to reference an entire minute ticked by as Baer beat to death a man he knew was unconscious. a.co/d/gq4Zad1

The "Philly Phantom" Tommy Loughran embodied the sweet science. He had a circle of mirrors in his private gym to study, practice & try new technique. He was meticulous about everything: movement, balance, coordination, footwork. A true tactician in mind and body. #boxinghistory

After William Harrison “Jack” Dempsey easily dispatched of a group of men about to rearrange Jack "Doc" Kearns' face in an Oakland CA barroom in 1916, Doc was so impressed he sent Jack a 1-way ticket & a $5 bill back to the Bay Area, which launched one of the greatest partnerships in boxing history.

When Jack Johnson fought Jim Jeffries for boxing's heavyweight title on 04 July 1910, spectators sat in auditoriums & stood outside newspaper offices across the nation, as a teletypewriter spewed out the results, which were then shared via a megaphone to the crowd.

Sol Levinson was a San Francisco boxing glove maker for World title champions. His gloves were worn during title fights by Fitzsimmons, Corbett, Jeffries, Johnson, Dempsey, Willard & Carpentier; all swore by the natural feeling fist, curved thumbs, and even an added 'bump' to eliminate eye gouging.

Rare archival photos from Feb 1928: Champs Mickey Walker & James J. Jeffries in San Francisco at Chutes Tabloid Golf Course, and before the M&M Hotel which held Chutes Gym, where Mickey trained for a fight with then light-heavy local phenom Armand Emanuel.

Joe Choynski weighed no more than 176 lb (80 kg) in a pro career that spanned 1888-1904, but he packed a wallop. He once hit James J. Jeffries with a right hand so powerful, one of Jeffries' teeth was driven deeply into his lip. Jeffries' cornermen had to cut it out with a knife between rounds.

...he must, when victory is at hand, go all out to win - not to win by battering, but by hitting his opponent so hard, so surely, and in the most vulnerable spot that he will win by inflicting a minimum amount of pain. - Georges Carpentier 2/2
