Summon Nothing 3rd-level Illusion Casting Time: 1 Action Range: 60 feet Components: V, S, M (a vial of pyrite) Duration: Concentration, up to 1 Hour Through utterance of guttural arcane language you summon forth the visage of a creature you have seen before. You choose the type of creature this illusion appears to be, which must be of a CR 3 or lower. The illusion appears in an unoccupied space you can see within range, and it dissipates when every creature convinced of the illusion succeeds on their saving throw or when the spell ends. Each creature within 60 feet of the illusion that can see the illusion must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or become convinced that the creature is real. While a creature believes the illusion is real, you can control the illusion as a bonus action on each of your turns to interact with any creatures who believe in its existence as if it were physically there, including attacking said creatures. Any damage that would be dealt by the creature becomes psychic damage, and this damage can only affect believing creatures. Whenever a believing creature comes into physical contact with the illusion, or whenever the illusion deals damage to that creature, they can remake this saving throw, ending their belief on a success. Name’s Adjective Noun Enchantment Cantrip Casting Time: 1 Action Range: 30 feet Components: V Duration: Until Dispelled You try to convince a sentient creature that can hear you that you have access to hidden arcane knowledge that they could learn. If the target creature has an Intelligence score of 3 or less, this spell immediately fails. That creature must succeed on an Intelligence saving throw or become convinced they now know how to cast a new spell (whose nomenclature follows the classical Name-Adjective-Noun, which you name as part of this spell’s casting, along with any specific Verbal, Somatic, and/or Material components the spell requires). The first time the affected creature attempts to cast this new “spell” as an action, they must roll a d100. On a result of 1-99, nothing happens and this effect is dispelled, the creature now fully aware you have lied to them and becoming immune to the effects of this spell if you ever cast it on them again. On a result of 100, the fake spell you convinced them was real actually functions (the actual effect of which is per the DM’s discretion) and they permanently gain the ability to cast it once per day, regardless of if they have the Spellcasting or Pact Magic features.
