Updated the camera to stay more centered behind the vehicle and look more upwards/forwards.
Will likely need some more tweaking but the sense of speed seems better overall and you can more clearly see the lovely sky which is a nice bonus.

Changed my tree models to use quad billboarding, I had wanted to get this kind of shader working for other kinds of trees and bushes mainly but I like how it turned out with these ones. May mix in my old models too for variation but we'll see

Added more environmental details. Added some rocks, more varied terrain textures and some forest ground cover.
Did a longer tour of the scene this time as I might be moving on from it soon with the lessons learned but I may try to get some early NPC cars working first

Cleaned up the Car controller and tweaked physics. Also added downforce and direction specific air drag values.
Made this force visualizer debug tool to help troubleshoot and tune the forces and its pretty fun to watch. Might add some form of it to the dashboard

Testing a new car placeholder model to see how I like the general shape and details. Also did more environmental work, creating more roads and adding bushes to better fill out the forest.

Sped up view of the current day night cycle made with Sky3D.
I also updated how I handle non tree foliage to be more procedural and less manually painted which will help a lot.
Created a Lily of the Valley asset to place around procedurally in clusters as well.

After a lot of headaches, I finally got collision working for the tens of thousands of trees without slowing things down to a crawl. They also shatter If you hit them hard enough, which can potentially open up shortcuts.

Maybe a bunch of small red grass for a compressed video was a bad idea (also being lazy with encoding options).

Really like how the movement controller is coming along for the gamedev project I'm working on.
Really need to know what I want to do for Level/World Design and find or create the tools to accomplish it.
