Recovering academic? Computer-science / Engineering with a "tall and thin" academic interest and a "short-and-wide" physique. All the normal things - mountain biking, skiing, hiking, baking & cooking, cats and travel. Dutiful parent and ally.
Trader Joe's has a pretty good raclette. I overbought for Thanksgiving so I had already been planning on making raclette and potatoes for dinner tonight when I saw this post.

Something like it has been done before -- the FDIC runs a student training center which is essentially an extended stay hotel. I've stayed there (I think folks attending different uni events can stay if room permits).

So the platforms included a land acknowledgement but not a policy of eg having other people do it.

The right doesn't like Indian rights (due to 60's-70's AIM and Indian rights) but I don't think people were telling them to do acknowledgements themselves but the right made fun of Dems for doing it

SNAP goes up during major recessions - the recovery from the 2008 crisis was long. The Covid one was quicker because of other supports, but it just never really recovered from 2008.

This is what makes America great. An Italian bakery, another Italian pizza place, followed by a Taiwanese tea House, a Japanese sushi bar, a Vietnamese restaurant and at the end there was a German deli and bakery.

I'm proud that my parents are immigrants to the United States.

Same as it ever was.

And the video was full of flaccid logic. The reason that boomers have a lot of wealth has to do with the fact that they're old and compound interest. There's still significant inequality in retiring boomers.

It's interesting to see the farms in context. Lots of room for more and the fact that they're building the polysilicon foundries ( which use a lot of energy there ) is smart.

The article also mentions taller panel mounts, allowing agrivoltaics (mainly grazing)

You're right, it does seem to be specific to dementia and Trump in that it doesn't produce an AI summary and just the article links.

Ah. It appears to be specifically about " medical topics about public figures" and not just it dementia specifically.

Here I'm asking if Trump has hairy tonsils.

It certainly replies about the controversy of Wikipedia articles in both regular search and AI search

As this article points out, China started encouraging Brazil and Argentina to focus on China exports after the Trump trade wars on 2017-2019. Trade to us has declined since then.
