Spotting an undercover at a protest is a bit of an art. It takes a lot of experience.

If they're just monitoring, they will *usually* (not always) avoid dressing in overtly political or "aligned" outfits. So, usually neither black bloc nor "chud bloc".

They try to look forgettable.

Feds have a less-obvious undercover presence than local cops.

Look for:

- Loose pairs of two
- Does not interact or chant
- Stays at edge of crowd but moves around
- Keeps their back to a wall or stands in doorways
- "Silhouette change" every hour (backpack, skateboard, jacket comes or goes)
