For those who might be wondering, gov'ts are allowed to tax only those who are within their jurisdiction. Taxes levied elsewhere are impossible to collect. As such, tariffs are imposed upon #USA importers, who then pass the cost onto consumers. That's mainly what makes the tax so atrocious. -- LSP
