So how do you explain the polls and the imminent victory of Reform in Wales? It may be terrifying, but the momentum is there. I see it every day in neighbourhood conversations, the media, social media, the polls and behaviour on the streets. I wish I shared your optimism.

I think the main problem this country has is that ‘most British people’ are not decent and do not have an inherent sense of fair play. That is a myth. Otherwise Reform would not be anywhere near their status in the polls.
