Ugh… just why?? Any decent newspaper used to fire somebody over something like this. The NZZ used to be a highly respectable newspaper; conservative, yes, but informative & quality journalism. I sometimes read it for it’s feuilleton; wouldn’t touch it with a ten-foot pole these days.

Same. I keep telling the story of how my neurologist warned me in the early weeks (!) of it all to try my best not to get it for as long as possible. And that I did. Pretty much everything she could only speculate about back then was proven later; forever grateful to the actual pros, really.
