Posted some VERY anti-CK things yesterday, & my hubbys brother got upset at him. When he told him to talk to me, he refused perpetually & began to insult leftists. BIL NEVER talked about school shootings/palestine/MY COMMUNITY & ICE! Don't take the moral high ground when you've never been on it.

So many of my husband's family members are pro-Geert Wilders, it's absolutely sickening. I saw them post pro-statements on FB/Insta, and I just posted mine, too. I can't wait for the potential fallout. No, literally-- they have no capacity for independent thought in their brains. 🤪👍

There is a great deal of privilege, being Mexican-American, of living in the Netherlands (or rather, moving there)-- especially being there during June, while people I knew protested in LA. It weighs heavily, constantly.

I will leave for the Netherlands on Tuesday and 2 and a half months. This will be an interesting time for me to start getting a feel for how living in the country on a permanent basis will look like.

What I learned: they claim authenticity but then will put pickles, corn, frittesaus, mushrooms, aubergines in the food.
