Look, I’m out of practice, this stuff is going to be all over the place for a while.
Why do they all spend so much time making the idea of progress, of the future, seem so deeply boring?

Possibly! But we’ve also learned — again, the entire history of Twitter — that keeping it as a black box also makes it possible to work the refs.

I don’t think there’s a silver bullet but the lack of transparency feeds into conspiracy and reduces trust in the overall enterprise.

They need to learn from Twitter and build more of the comms into them product, something Twitter didn’t do nearly enough of.

Don’t just say “account not found,” provide some detail of why in the account page. Especially for a temp action like this.

Any time Dems get accused of being elitist just show this screen shot.

Healthcare for the GOP? Be a millionaire, and then get a millionaire and a billionaire to reach out to the President for you. Cancer solved.

This interview is the answer key to the last decade.

I think you actually turn it into a “never forget” kind of museum to the horrors of fascism. Let him build the reminder of his own failures.

Bring back shame. It’s the only thing that kept bands in the ‘90s in check.

Until the democratic apparatus understands how important theater is to the moment, they will never be able to win the debate.

It’s quite depressing to say so, but it’s reality. Politics has become entertainment and wish fulfillment and sometimes you have to hold your nose a play along to win.

I forgot it was draft night and got stuck with an auto draft team. Quite a hole to dig out of.

So where are they?

Individual sub cancellations are gonna mean much. Multi-millionaire talent refusing to work with Disney and Paramount? That might.

Worry not, I’m sure Taibbi, Weiss, and Shellenberger are all over this and will expose the government efforts to stomp on our 1st Amendment rights.

Really feels like the time has come to nationalize journalism (and yeah, I know he’s not a journalist.)

Corporate objectives and profit will always outweigh editorial integrity. Separate them entirely.

Likely doesn’t help that most news organizations did away with the reporters who followed this and surfaced it. Or that so many universities shut down their research teams. Allowing it all to take place in the shadows makes it all worse.

They were, in fact, the makers marks. Something any trained field agent would have identified in seconds.

If this came from the FBI, Dems would be utterly negligent not to call for Patel’s resignation at this point. An incredible number of major f’ups in 24 hours on top of every other reason.
