When I was in college I used to routinely knock out essay in two-three hours, and I don't consider myself to be an especially productive writer. Who are these people?

In all the videos of FPVs hitting infantry, they almost never try to shoot back. Why not? Surely a single hit from a rifle would take it out. Are they really such a hard target to hit?
