Obama held a reactionary view of trans rights, you come for us and we come back. But institutions like the NYT and the Atlantic have laundered ignorance that it was the Dems offering aggressive takes instead of mostly protecting gains that just happened under the radar.

The issue is moderate elite collaborators who have fostered the lie of trans rights being a novel pet cause of the last decade instead of a decades long battle that must people never gave a shit about with even the most controversial point of sports inclusion being a half a century old.

Also as someone with a Jewish wife and a Jewish son facing raising antisemitism, I can hold nuance, but I don't think I'm crazy for having a pretty stringent policy against guys with Nazi tattoos. I'm not crazy or woke. Just don't want my family to be persecuted.

Natalie Wynn used it to refer to bodies over people which I agree with and I use it that way. I am a transgender woman with a transexual body. I wouldn’t be offended by someone saying they’re transexual, but I think I prefer the norm of it being about bodies.

I’m trans, my mom is accepting of me but is also kinda bi-phobic. Took me being bi way differently than being trans. It’s weird and kinda crappy. But like yeah she can come to pride. She is a well meaning but flawed person. That doesn’t mean a person with a God Hates F-gs ratio should come
