What ruins every single good account is that after they go viral and get a taste of fame, they will immediately turn to capitalism and make it about money selling merch and asking for money to see special content and fuck this. Is there no one left who just want to create content for fun?

Naming things in fantasy can be ridiculously tricky. In English, we steal from other languages so we can have Mount mountain and the Desert deserts without most people noticing. What tricks do you use coming up with names in fantasy #writing and #worldbuilding?

Why do you buy more books when you already have many you haven’t read?
I’m genuinely curious.
I have only 1 book on my tbr and I’m currently reading a book. And this is all I’ll have for this year because I know I can’t finish more.

What is your book idea process like?
Mine’s unusual
I think of an idea. Then I go, cool ok, and I let it be. If my brain forgets about it, I know it was not born out of passion. But if my brain keeps coming back to it, I think about it for months, then eventually start writing it

I guess I’m a horse. It gives me anxiety to breathe through my mouth. Once I went scuba diving and had a panic attack after like, 30 seconds with the thing for breathing in my mouth and had to come back up

Due to the fact that I only edit on the side now plus I don’t have much money, I decided to cancel my Wix premium so I can’t use my domain for my website anymore. But honestly, the free version is just fine. Still has all the same info and looks fine

not an original thought but bears repeating: half of writing is just being allowed time to sit on your ass uninterrupted and think about things really hard until you puzzle them out, which doesn't look or feel like work at all. but it is!
