When you play #puzzlegames , do you enjoy listening to the music or do you play on silent? And if you do enjoy listening to the music, do you enjoy exciting heartbeat increasing music or more of a jazzy vibe for example?

Asking for a friend…

I really need some exciting music for the little #puzzlegame I’m currently developing. If anyone has any people recommendations I’m all ears!

It's interesting how the worlds of the Ultima series continually "shrunk" as they became more "concrete". In a tile based world map, every step could represent miles of distance. It is like looking at an imaginary map. In a more realized space, a meter is only a meter.

1) If there was a filter in Bluesky that would automatically hide all political content, would you use it?

2) If you choose to use this filter, (how) would you stay informed of country/world affairs?

The Barbarians

Here’s a movie that did not get the recognition it deserved. I say up there with Labyrinth, Willow, Conan and the like. Really funny, great make up, some nice gore and a brilliant Mad Max feel.

Fellow puzzle game fan recommendation!
This game is good! Nicely designed puzzles.
We tried out the Squid Grid demo - it's a neat sokoban game about squids... on a grid! And they can teleport. And there are jellyfish, starfish, and lobsters too.

Looking for a couple of Game Devs willing to listen or give feedback to ideas for video games from my students om their projects so far and at the end of it. We do these sessions now at 19:30 Amsterdam Time. But you can also give feedback in writing. Would 1000% appreciate it

I have set up a few online communities in my time. A few simple rules have always created the most beautiful online spaces: no politics, no religion, and don’t swear at someone. Other than that, enjoy yourself. Wouldn’t it be refreshing to have social media like that…

Bluesky tip for newbies: Bluesky has no real algorithm. Likes here do nothing but show the poster that you enjoyed their content.

That kindness is always going to be appreciated by creators, but if you want to help to boost something here, you have to repost it so others see it. 🙂

Just committed to develop a puzzle game that I designed over 10 years ago.

Never had the time or resources to be able to make it a reality.

I’m looking forward to sharing my journey.

If you enjoy games like Stack Ball, Puzzle Bubble, Columns, Tetris, Klax, etc. Give me a follow :)
