This is the Boomerang Archive!
Collecting the many idents, bumpers and continuity from Boomerang TV around the globe.
From Toys, to it's first rebrand, and even some other obscurities from the past couple decades. And maybe even some fan made content.
Weirdly, despite the show running for only one year, this special has had a longer life on Boomerang UK.

First in the early 2000s, and carried on showing til around 2006. It then made a return out of nowhere (2011?), showing for another few years until 2014 (which was it's last broadcast).

The special is direct parody of "It's a Wonderful Life", and also makes references to other specials such as Charlie Brown, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

This special has been shown every year up until around 2003 on Cartoon Network and 2011 on Boomerang.

Two other Yogi specials have also been shown on Cartoon Network. Yogi's All-Star Christmas Comedy Caper, and "Casper's First Christmas" a crossover with the Harvey Comics character.

You'd think so, but apparently some of these new releases are still Region A only.

Since when and why US blu-rays stopped putting the region codes on their back covers?

Looking at it, I probably won't have a lot of time and space to flick through them all. It was a curious discovery, but I may have to leave them
unless somebody else is interested in two huge boxes of tapes.

Yeah, but again, I don't have the stuff to digitize them.

I have a VHS player to test them, but none of the tools to transfer to DVD or computer.

Most of them are a mix of musicals, Carry On films and a few family flicks. Again, no clue when or where they'd be recorded.

I think I saw that version too. Sounds like one of those prints intended for dubbing.

The only other example I can think of was Tom & Jerry "Flirty Birdy", where earlier broadcasts I saw had the bird not saying anything.
