She was deported to #Auschwitz from #Westerbork in August 1942. She was murdered in a gas chamber after the arrival selection.

She was almost 2 years old.

31 August 1942 | A transport of 1,000 Jews deported from #Drancy in German-occupied France arrived at #Auschwitz. After the arrival selection, 676 of them were murdered in gas chambers.

One of them was 3 y/o Jacques Zajderman.

23 August 1940 | A Belgian Jewish girl, Simone Frajermauer, was born in Brussels.

She arrived at #Auschwitz on 2 August 1943 in a transport of 1,553 Jews deported from Kazerne Dossin in Mechelen. She was among 1,087 of them murdered in a gas chamber after the selection.

22 August 1925 | German Jewish boy Erich Günther Gutmacher was born in Berlin. He emigrated to the Netherlands.

In August 1942 he was deported to #Auschwitz and registered in the camp after the selection (no. unknown). He perished in the camp on 22 August 1942.
