Reader, gamer, loves to work out, cook, putz around in the garden.
Ive had a lot more time to game this last year - both bc of retirement & the expanded accessibility provided by my PS5 and Portal - eternal thanks to my amazing wife for both her patience with a hobby that can be a little consuming and for gifting me all this new technology. It’s been a joyful time.

Pretty sure I hit the jackpot with my future son-in-law. Happy holidays.

I lied - one more on Mass Effect Legendary Edition - I think there are many who feel ME2 was the best in the franchise but for me - ME3 hands down. IMO - the franchise got stronger - the story better and more engaging - with each release. Amazing franchise that I’m very sorry to finish.

One more on Mass Effect Legendary Edition play - I maxed my war resources so I had the best outcome - but I was totally unprepared for the choice I was presented with at the end. Given all that happened over the course of 3 games, it was an easy one for me - extremely happy with the outcome!

Just rolled credits on Mass Effect 3 and WOW - what a brilliant ending. I never expected the choices I’d be faced with - nevertheless, I chose what felt right for my Shep and I’m very satisfied with the outcome. Short to long - I really am just blown away!! TYVM BioWare!!

I just don’t get this whole workout / flex photo thing - I don’t get the need to define yourself publicly this way. It’s great that you’re lifting but it’s not really any big deal - takes a minimum of self- discipline. It’s an auto-block for me.

I’ve spent the last few weeks playing through the Mass Effect Legendary Edition - I’m a completionist so generally take my time and experience everything a game has to offer - and I have enjoyed almost every minute - with the possible exception of the scanning mini-games. It’s been wonderful.

The closer I get to the end of Mass Effect 3, the slower I’m playing. I really have loved these games and I’m very thankful that BioWare released the Legendary Edition. Seeing decisions I made in ME1 have critical impacts on the outcome in ME3 always surprises and delights me.

I’ve been told that most consider Mass Effect 2 is the best game in the franchise and I did really love it - but…as I get deeper into ME3, I have to say - this one may be my favorite. What a great game. Only complaint - too bad they included a silly scanning mini-game in both installments.

So…I think this flies in the face of majority opinion but have to say - after rolling credits on ME2 and starting a play through of ME3 - I’m enjoying ME3 more. It kept all the good stuff and fixed the annoying aspects of ME2. Both amazing games and I’ll update when done - but right now ME3 ⬆️

Well now - that was quite a ride - rolling credits on Mass Effect 2 - NO ONE LEFT BEHIND! What a great game. Didn’t quite affect me like either God of War Ragnarok or Dragon Age Veil Guard but close and very very strong - loved every minute!

Mass Effect Legendary Edition - played a Soldier in ME1 but moved to Infiltrator in ME2. LOVE that class - Infiltrator for the rest of the series: “One Shot - One Kill!”

Playing through Mass Effect Legendary Edition and I’m well into ME2. I always play Paragon but have to say - it feels really good every once in awhile to go Renegade - throwing that Merc out the window FTW - “How about goodbye”!

Really enjoying Mass Effect 2 and closing in on the Point Of No Return and looking forward to ME3.BioWare never seems to disappoint me. May not be a typical take but DAV is still my favorite of all the BW games I’ve played. The narrative and characters are just more engaging. Neve & Lucanis FTW.

So…I’m well into my Mass Effect Legendary Edition play through (about halfway into ME2) and my wife walks in - I’m a femshep partied with Grunt & Samara and I’m in Afterlife on Omega. She stops, takes in the scene and says “your reality is sometimes extremely troubling to me” - then just laughs.

Rolled credits on Mass Effect 1 last night at 1:00 AM (I am way too old to be doing that kind of thing) and I woke up with only one thought this morning - ME 2…let’s GOOOOOO!

My opinion only but I simply don’t understand what seems to be a compulsion to post workout selfies - is there actually an audience for that?

Hook ‘Em Horns!! What a great way to end the season.

Rolled credits on God of War Ragnarok tonight. What a magnificent game. Been looking for a game that pulled me in as hard as Witcher 3 for so many years and this one got very close. It’s going to stay with me for a VERY long time.

I’m at that point in God Of War Ragnarok where I can move past the Point of No Return and finish this but I..Just..Don’t..Want..It..To..End. This has been just an outstanding trip - I’d like it never to end.

There are so many things I love about God of War Ragnarok - two that continue to delight are Brok and Sindri. I LOVE those guys.

I am truly loving God of War Ragnarok. Went from Dragon Age Veilguard to God of War to God of War Ragnarok - 3 superb narrative-driven games. All seasonally serve as great reminders of something I learned later in my gaming life - that being:

I can’t begin to explain how much I love my wife. Does she occasionally / often get frustrated (sometimes angry) with me - yes. I caveat that with my admission that I often give her reason to do so. Nevertheless, the wonderful things she does for me far outweigh any of that. Here’s a great example

We watched the first 2 episodes of Down Cemetery Road tonight and - while it starts a bit slow - have to say we’re intrigued. Ended the 2nd episode knowing we wanted more. Slow but compelling burn.

It is hard to explain how happy it makes me that the new season of Landman is finally out. That may be my favorite show in production right now. S2E1 was near perfect.
