Spent the day at Disneyland with some friends that I haven't seen in 5 years. Gotta say, it was nice to ignore the state of the country for 13 hours. Being able to unplug from the internet and live in the moment... it did wonders for my mental health.

This weekend's bread! I did the same recipe as the jalapeño cheddar I made last week, but used pepperoni and mozzarella instead. 2nd ever artisan loaf! I need to get better at taking pictures.

It was a day full of food. I baked my weekly loaves of sourdough bread in the morning. My dad grilled steak and potatoes for dinner. And I made my first sourdough discard recipe for apple fritter bread. Dad is an apple fritter fiend and gave it 2 forks up.

My dad and I have Saturday movie night. Tonight was Wicked. Great movie. Too bad he doesn't really like musicals. He only watched it because I wanted to. He's been wanting to watch the new Mad Max. I think that'll be next week's pick.

I spent the last week downloading all 2,835 Kindle books from my Amazon library. I had originally planned to only download the books I paid money for since 90% of my books were free purchases. Fuck you, Bezos. I took all of them with me. Even got 100+ more free books today. No more ebooks from them!
