Review: Hammond's easily readable prose makes this book fun, and Holmes fans and mystery lovers will find satisfaction.

David Marcum  David MacGregor is known to many as a Sherlockian Playwright, and his works in that field have entertained a great many in the live performance format. Sadly, I’ve never had the opportunity to see any of these plays live, although I have read the scripts, which are available from MX Publishing. But from my perspective, MacGregor’s even greater talent is crafting the kind of Sherlock Holmes stories that I want to read, and that I can read without fear that the author will make some egregious intentional error and drag the story – and me with it – off a cliff where Holmes is presented in an absolutely incorrect manner.
