Tomorrow, a certain online mega-retailer launches a book sale, just days before Indie Bookstore Day on 4/26. This is no coincidence; Bookstore Day is one of the largest revenue drivers for indies.

Indies need our support to thrive & build community spaces for all...mega-retailers do not.

Interlibrary loans suspended in South Dakota.

Without federal library funding, libraries across the state may be forced to halt or charge for sharing books—a service vital to students, families, and rural communities.

Woke up with a stiff neck and shoulder (aging is fun). So instead of being extremely productive like a typical Sunday chore day—I’ll just be listening to the audiobook of one of my favorite 2023 reads, Kings of Kearny by Navessa Allen (aka author of Lights Out💀IYKYK). #booksky 📚🦋

If you're buying from Kobo and read lots of indie books, consider a VIP membership. $10/year and you get 10% off indie books.

*The discount applies to some books through publishers too, but in general, not the Big 5. But for romance readers: you get 10% off Sourcebooks titles!

In honor of #internationalwomensday, a shout-out to Canadian author Louise Claire Johnson! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

“Spring 2021’s most compulsively readable biography-meets-memoir tells the story of two women, a century apart, discovering themselves and redefining beauty and success on their own terms.” #booksky 📚

After a rough January, finally got 16 read in February (not listed are several Dramione fanfics). Not all were great, but the ones listed below were at least 4 ⭐️’s. Might be super random for some, but I read anything I’m in the mood for 🙃 #BookSky

Found whilst organizing my books. In this 1927 copy of An Aviators Luck, a set of (stamps?) from a mail in for Quaker Oats Co. (about 1944?). Love vintage finds 🤗

Though I believe it’s an important read for all. #booksky

For my fellow #SleepToken fans, I wanted to mention a book I found on Hoopla.
The Daymakers by Grace McGinty is a RH, spicy, MASKED rockstar romance. The FMC was a bit much at times, but the 4 MMCs made up for it 🙃 loved the audiobook and ended up ordering a physical copy after I finished it. 4.5⭐️
