We need to go back for a stay, ideal as a Base to discover other delights around the area. In 2022 we stayed in a couples annexe in Newton Abbot, this was an ideal base and we popped to Sidmouth for a day and with the railway station nearby, we had the South-West within our grasp.

We holidayed in Sidmouth a few years ago and I popped along to watch a couple of matches. I was made very welcome, lovely pavilion and had a pint or two and a bit of food, lovely ground with a great view.

It is time that India's influence at the highest levels was taken down a peg or two. The champions trophy final should be in Lahore and if India get to the final, they should have to forfeit it. Group games in UAE for India should be at the BCCI's expense.

We visited here in 2022 and I loved this ground, not sure if I would have enjoyed batting here though, lol.
