Yesterday we had a drive down to Bakewell, we had a lovely few hours and three books found their way into our possession. Once home I noted them down and the three books that Mrs S got for Christmas. All this done, the final total for books entering our household is 276.

For me, 2024 has been a poor reading year. I am currently reading book 43 of the year and will not reach 20,000 pages read in a year for the first time in 15 years. Recent news means that 2025 will be a better year and hopefully I will get somewhere between 75 & 100 books read.
