Since the Democrats worked extra hard to hide who actually supported this, I think the No Kings/Resistance position should be to primary every Democrat unless they publicly call for Schumer's ouster this week

Either they go into total rebellion mode, which they won't, or the people will

Private equity should not own anything people need to live. Housing, utilities, food, health care.... the sale of Minnesota Power to Blackrock hurts northern Minnesotans.

BlackRock is leading a consortium buying Minnesota Power in a private equity foray into utilities. The decision will be made tomorrow. Meanwhile, Gov. Walz's Department of Commerce flipped to supporting the deal, & emails show numerous contacts with the acquisition’s supporters. From James Baratta:

BlackRock-owned Global Infrastructure Partners and a Canadian pension giant want to buy a Minnesota-based utility. Gov. Tim Walz’s agencies have been in on pushing the deal.

Intro time! I'm L.M. Sagas, author of fun, fast-paced sci-fi that's full of heart, laughs, and humans being messy.

My debut duology, Ambit's Run, is a queer, quirky, edge-of-your-seat sci-fi adventure with a close-knit crew of misfits out to fix the world (and maybe fix themselves in the process).

If you think a depression only looks like soup lines, or fascism only shows up with a tiny mustache, you’re missing it. History doesn’t repeat with costumes, it updates the wardrobe. Adjust your perception.

Senator Thune from SD (who has a tiny head and huge shoulders wth) should be held accountable for the whole RFK jr thing. Isn't he senate majority leader? As well, I'm hoping he isn't stupid and knew rfk was a crackpot.

Yes we are 4 seconds from fascism, but I've loaded my cart on steam and I'm waiting for the September sale.

She isn't wrong. However, since the last election result Sen Klobuchar's social media posts have a heavy performative feel. I think we should be demanding she be primaried.

A Sorceress Comes to Call by T Kingfisher is an excellent read. Likeable people and a pretty horrifying villain. Best book I've read so far this year.
