The reason this is so galling is not that individual journalists aren't complaining. It's that the institutions that journalists most venerate seem to be okay with it

I am increasingly concerned that the whole "being a billionaire is, cognitively, like getting kicked in the head by a horse every day" theory more broadly applies to a lot of people in highly-elite spaces (eg the Senate)
