I feel like my entire life lately is people telling me I'm being paranoid & then me saying "see!" when something similar to my fears happen.

"Hey what if as white people we could exploit indigenous people but we frame it in a fun altruistic way while also ignoring everything in the past that would make even suggesting this abominable?"

Yeah this feels on par for white ladies. We can't even vote in our own best interests.

I just saw this and I'm SO FUCKING TIRED of this man & this fucking bullshit

Giving in to the mood reading urges have really made me love reading again. I still have reading goals but I've just tried to reduce my self placed expectations around reading.

A book I always recommend is If You Could See Me Now by Cecelia Ahern. It's light, but does have an underlying message that hit me in the heart in a good way. Semi-romantic subplot. It's such a comfort read for me, & helps to remind me to protect my inner child.

I stopped requesting them for the same reason. It felt like I was making reading more of a burden than a passion, and it became overwhelming.

100% they're unmatched imo
