This is the second week now where I've seen The Hedgehog's Dilemma on your list. I got my copy recently but haven't been able to play it yet. Do you have any thoughts so far?

This year's The Baltimorons was utterly charming if you're able to find it.

What's interesting to me is that this is a purely intellectual exercise. Whether it's a camel or a ship's rope, it's not getting through.

The meaning either way is the same and consistent with Jesus' teachings - it's not possible for the wealthy to enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

Almost! The original language of the NT is Greek, but since Jesus would have preached in Aramaic, the thinking is that turning to what the original phrase would have been might offer solutions. Unfortunately, Aramaic has the same issue of camel and rope being distinguished only by a single vowel.

I'm wondering if your path is different from mine.
I get to all the placed Qs along with most of the Ds, Ls and Ys with no consideration paid to the cages.

If you wanted to give more of a steer though, "No word in English ends with a Q" may be an option?

I continue to like this!
With my sodoku hat on, I'd suggest removing all grey squares and circles except for r1c6, r8c8, and r9c1, and all white dots but for the strings of dots in rows 6 and 7 & the two r9 dots in box 8.
But I don't know what that would do for the word puzzle folks.

Is there particular feedback you're seeking?

Because I really wouldn't change much. I think this is delightful.
You could remove the grey squares from r2c2 and r7c6 at no cost to the puzzle.

Oh, and for anyone not fluent in English, if you can understood the rules, you have more than enough!

What I play these puzzles for is the little moments of realisation when I see what the setter is communicating. I think I had about 3(?) of those lightbulb moments with this!

I'm happy to talk about my solution part, but probably best not public so others can come to it fresh.

Amabel,
I'll start by saying I think this is fabulous! Really clever little puzzle and I love how the framing makes you think it's a word puzzle while staying very true to the logical core of sudoku.
