These posters started popping up ahead of next week’s We Ain’t Buying It boycott.

From Nov 27 - Dec 1, folks are stepping back from corporate chains like Target, Home Depot, and Amazon. People are done being squeezed, so they are using the leverage of their wallets 💥

As a POSTIE I need daily salt and am terrible at it. So got this cute key chain that just fits my required daily amount.

Probably the lightest film that Aronofsky has made, #CaughtStealing is a fast, frenetic, and fun crime thriller with a comedic edge elevated by the commitment of the cast, especially #AustinButler, but there's no denying that it leaves little impact when compared to the rest of his movies. #filmsky

A darkly hysterical yet unexpectedly authentic depiction of a collapsing marriage, #TheRoses is a black comedy brought to life by the terrific chemistry between #BenedictCumberbatch and #OliviaColman and a sharp screenplay from Tony McNamara even if it occasionally feels choppy. #filmsky

Exciting, funny, heartfelt, timely, and (above all else) human, #Superman kicks off a new era for #DC with a slightly overstuffed but highly entertaining comic book extravaganza that balances its vibrant spectacle with a relatable take on the character. This film doesn't just fly, it soars! #filmsky

A horrifying, hysterical, heartfelt, and strangely honest blend of intimate modern romance and contorted body horror, #Together is a wildly entertaining genre hybrid with strong performances from both #DaveFrano and #AlisonBrie that gets under your skin figuratively and literally. #filmsky #Neon

Fittingly proving that fourth times the charm with a distinctly fresh installment in the MCU, #TheFantasticFour:FirstSteps does a great job representing Marvel's first family with a stunningly retro presentation, a superb score, and a fantastic cast that embodies their characters perfectly. #filmsky

A magnificently dumb and unabashedly stupid reboot/legacy sequel that retains the spirit and absurdity of its predecessors, #TheNakedGun is a nearly non-stop hysterical comedy thanks to the deadpan delivery from #LiamNesson and script that can't go 30 seconds without making a joke. #filmsky

Books are necessary tools for understanding life's complex issues. "...they need to have the space to have access to a book like that, to talk about something complicated and hard, but which is also impacting their lives... It speaks to them, it doesn't speak down to them." #UniteAgainstBookBans

A film that doesn't answer any of its profoundly existential or earnestly philosophical questions but does offer a hopeful sense of comfort in a time where people need it, #TheLifeofChuck is an emotionally overwhelming experience that left me transfixed and broken for all the right reasons. #filmsky

While it peaks in the first 10 minutes only to slip back into the repetitive formula that the series is known for, #FinalDestination:Bloodlines is an unexpectedly refreshing entry to the franchise with new ideas, massive laughs, and plenty of memorably brutal kills. #filmsky

A maddening exercise in style over substance fueled by self-aggrandizing indulgence and exhausting ego, #HurryUpTomorrow is a promotional vanity project with 10 minutes of thin storytelling stretched out to an agonizing 105 minutes that'll have you begging for the movie to hurry up and end! #filmsky

A Black man just beat the record for the longest filibuster, defeating the record previously held by a man who filibustered the literal Civil Rights Act.

As the time ticked over, Cory Booker announced he did it not out of hatred for who he opposed, but out of love for those who supported him.

Longest speaking filibuster ever was 24 hours, 18 minutes by Strom Thurmond in opposition to the Civil Rights Act of 1957.

In a few hours, that record will be shattered by Sen. Cory Booker, a Black man, laying out the case for saving democracy from an aspiring despot.

What is DEI?
DEI policies are organizational frameworks that seek to promote fair treatment of all people, particularly groups that have historically been underrepresented or subject to discrimination because of their identity or disability.

I know it's not feasible for everyone to boycott everything because that's one of the down sides of society, but even if it's just one or two places I think doing something little & have enough people do a little thing can grow (3/3)

A $320 million misfire that just feels like a tax write-off for #Netflix, #TheElectricState has the budget to give the appearance of competency, but that doesn't stop it from being a lifeless piece of content that'll make you wish that you were watching a dozen other better movies. #filmsky

Occasionally capturing the magic of the original thanks to the charming #RachelZegler and fun musical numbers, #SnowWhite still falls well short due to unfocused direction, bad effects, and an awful performance from #GalGadot. Not the fairest of them all but not a poisoned apple either. #filmsky
