My new massive bookshelf has started set up yesterday but it's not ready yet. So I'll spend the weekend longingly looking at it and thinking on how to organise my books

Finished Tehanu by Ursula K Le Guin today and I wasn't expecting to be shaken by a line but

Ok so last weekend finally finished the Rook and Rose trilogy. What a fun adventure! All the intrigue, double crossing and lying, all while at masquerade balls, theatres and such. A bit sad there wasn't much of that on book 3, but still liked the series overall

What a year! Tried a lot more romances than usual, but didn't find a lot of new favorites. Gotta get back to reading mostly depressing books 😅

For the last few weeks I've been working with Chris Barkley @cmzhang42.bsky.social of @file770.bsky.social on a report about censorship in the 2023 Hugo Awards.

Leaked emails and files indicate authors and works deemed “not eligible” for the awards were removed due to political considerations. 1/3
